How much will it cost?

To produce a website, you have many options that will determine the price. Two options are to hire a professional web designer to create an innovative web site that is based on your business and you vision. The second option would be to download a template. Option s will save you lots of money but your site will show up somewhere else with different text and logos. At Stillwater Dezign, We develop your website based on your needs and specifications. Our design team are highly skilled and we research your business prior to taking the job.

How is the price determined?

We request from the client general information and a business strategy. After we review the information, we then prepare a written proposal based on the information provided and the data collected. Our estimates are based primarily upon how much time it will take to complete your project and its content. Occasionally, other (pre-approved) expenses may be included - such as those related to the acquisition of special software, etc. When you contact Stillwater Dezign, there are no hidden fees or surprises, and no intimidating contracts. Some firms charge you just to attend a meeting not to mention drive time.
As a Stillwater Dezign client, you are treated as our only client and team member; an active participant who is kept fully informed from the start of the project to the completion of the project.

What payment methods do you support?

We accept checks or money orders and on rare occasions cash. All checks should be made payable to Stillwater Dezign and addressed to:

Do you require a deposit?

Yes! We require a deposit of 40% of the total cost once the estimate is approved. This is required before any scheduled work although there are exceptions based on inefficient data or samples. The final balance is due and payable upon completion of the website. As soon as payment is received, the finished website is uploaded to the hosting servers.

Do I have sole ownership of my website?

Definitely! The content of the website's are not copyrighted. Once you pay for it, you own it. No questions asked! Stillwater Dezign retains the right to promote your site on the web and for reprints and special promotions. In the end your site will receive free publicity.

Timeframe and scheduling

How long does it take?

A web site can take up to 2 weeks or longer to complete. Larger (and often, more complex) website's may require more time. This is particularly true in the case of database-enabled website's and those with e-commerce capabilities. If all information is provided, along with text, photographs, color scheme and themes, the sites will be completed much faster as well as at a lower overall price.

How soon can we start?

Before a project is started, we require all client data and information. Some clients provide pre-made sites and are billed accordingly. Stillwater Dezign is always happy to consult with you about the content you may need, including text, images, logos, and related information. It is true that most new clients may not have all the necessary tools to start a new site or project. We have a copywriter, design team and marketing personnel to assist all of your needs.

Will my website work on a Mac as well as a PC?

Absolutely. All websites we produce are cross-platform compatible.

Will my new site look good on any browser?

The truth is, every computer will not appear the same. We do assure the site will be as professional in viewing as it is produced.

Content Updating

We encourage each client to maintain his or her site or we’ll do it for you. The importance of content updating is simple. Your site is on real time. In other words, your website will be viewed 24/7 365 days a year! It’s important that the site is updated to keep every visitor up to date at all times. We discuss monthly, weekly or daily updates on each estimate.

Can I update my website myself?

Yes. We can create or redesign your site to make it possible for you to do just that, and you don't require any knowledge of HTML or other coding. With the proper software you will be able to update your site!
